Dr. Antonio D. Thomas
Head of School | Educator | Leader | Advocate
Dr. Antonio D. Thomas is a passionate educator and visionary leader committed to transforming lives through education, faith, and family. A proud Louisville native, he returned to his hometown with a deep desire to help the city’s children and families grow, not just academically but spiritually and emotionally.
Dr. Thomas holds an Associate Degree in Music and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, which laid the foundation for his passion for human development and creative expression. He began his teaching career through Teach For America in New Jersey, where he earned his teacher certification and gained firsthand experience in high-impact urban classrooms. Over the course of more than a decade in education, Dr. Thomas became known for his engaging teaching style, relational approach, and commitment to student success. His love for teaching and belief in the transformative power of education propelled him to pursue advanced studies, leading to two master’s degrees, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Social Work (MSW), and culminating in a Doctorate in Clinical Counseling.
Beyond education, Dr. Thomas is the founder of Kulima Care Family Services, cofounder of Paressia Music and Publishing, and an advocate for minority youth. He lives in Louisville with his wife, Sharon Roshell Thomas, and their children, together building a legacy of faith, purpose, and community impact.
Mr. Dominic D’Ettorre

Dominic D’Ettorre, affectionately known as Mr. D, is a dynamic third generation educator dedicated to shaping young minds and building thriving school communities. As Academic Administrator at M.H.G. Preparatory Academy, he blends academic excellence with servant leadership to drive student success and teacher growth.
Mr. D holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration and a master’s in Education, with extensive experience in project based and inquiry driven learning. He is known for designing engaging, real world lessons that challenge students to think critically and take ownership of their learning. As a skilled curriculum developer, he creates instructional plans that meet diverse needs, ensuring every student has a clear path to success.
Rooted in his Christian faith, Mr. D sees education as a calling to raise up Kingdom minded leaders. He believes in the power of strong relationships, mentorship, and character development to unlock student potential and inspire purpose driven living.
